About JEE Main
JEE Main formerly termed as All India Engineering Entrance Examination is a Joint Entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency which is held through the Computer Based Test at a national level that primarily opens the gateway to the architecture, Engineering, and technical courses from the National Institute of Technology. Candidates who further clear the JEE Advance stage are shortlisted for the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology. From 2019, this competitive examination is held in the first 2 quarters of the year.

JEE Main Examination Update 2021
NTA announced the conduct of JEE Main Examination in the 4 phases. So far, 2 phases of the JEE Main (February and March 2021) have been completed in which a significant number of 620978 and 556248 candidates appeared respectively despite the present scenario of COVID19. Recently the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank held a virtual meeting regarding the future of the competitive and HSC examinations. The meeting concluded with a note to postpone the remaining 2 phases of JEE Main due to the ongoing pandemic wave so as to take the safety of the applicants as the foremost priority. Hence, the new updated date for the JEE Mains will be announced prior 15 days to the examination.

How to Download the JEE Mains Admit Card?
Once the Admit card notification is out on the official portal, Applicants shall download their admit card by following the steps provided below:
- Visit the official web portal of JEE Mains
- Once the homepage appears on the screen, in front of the portal, a Download Admit card option will appear in which the applicant needs to tap.
- The JEE Main Admit Card Login window will appear on the screen.
- Hereby, Applicant is required to provide the following details:
- Choose the specified session
- Enter the Application number(provided during the time of registration)
- Date of Birth(in DD/MM/YYYY format)
- Enter the Captcha inside the textbox.
- Once the details are provided, click on Submit to Successfully land into the Hall Ticket of JEE Main 2021 which can be downloaded and printed for future references.

JEE Main Admit Card Details
Once the The JEE Main Admit card is downloaded, it will comprise the following details:
- Name of the Applicant
- Examination Stage(Mains)
- Guardian’s Name
- Date and Timing of the Examination
- Date of Birth of the Applicant
- Instructions section
- Applicant’s signature, biometric, and Signature
- Invigilators’ signature section

JEE Main 2021: Important Key Points
The candidates must take care of the following card while keeping the Admit Cards:
- It is mandatory for the Applicants to carry their Hall Tickets during the JEE Main 2021 examination. No candidate will be provided entry without the valid Admit card
- Candidates must bring the safety essentials with themselves i,e. Hand sanitizers, Face Masks, etc.
- The candidate must abide through all the instructions been printed on the Hall Ticket for JEE Mains 2021.
- In case of any discrepancy arises with the Admit card and Examination records, then the Applicant must reach out to the assigned invigilator or examination authorities of the center
- The candidate is advised to reach the examination center two hours prior to the examination considering the ongoing Pandemic situation.
- The applicant shall download the Admit card 1 week prior to the JEE Main Examination.
- Between the delayed time, it is advised to the general candidate to prepare thoroughly for their JEE Main examination and also Download the NTA Abhyas Application which will eventually guide them throughout making notes and revise the study material.
- There is a provision of Negative marking(-1) for each question. Therefore, the Applicant must select the answer once sure.

JEE 2021 FAQs
National Testing Agency is in charge of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination 2021.
The JEE Main comprises 4 phases. Out of which the Februrary and March phases of examination has been completed.
The JEE Mains examination will be conducted through Computer Based (Online) mode and the time allotted for the examination is 3 hrs/3.5 hrs depending on the technical course opted out.
No. The 3rd and 4th phase examination which were about to be conducted has now been postponed due to the current covid inconvenience. However, the National Testing Agency has released the notification regarding the postponement of the remaining phases of examination ensuring the safety of the candidates. Once the official notification gets released, we will update the same here.
Tentatively, the examination shall be conducted on the 3rd quarter of the year and the Admit card once released can be downloaded through the official portal of NTA.
